INCREDIBLE STRAIT Jan 01, 2005 I cannot stress how much I love this CD, it is without question the most underrated of GS's career. It is in the top FIVE studio albums he ever made. "Cowtown", "No One In Their Right Mind Would Have Left Her", My Old Flame's Burnin' Another Honky Tonk Down" "Deep Water", "Rhythm Of The Road", and most of all "It Ain't Cool To Be Crazy About You", are 10/10. There is not one song that is LESS then 9/10. This is one incredible Strait CD, and a bargain at any price.

YOU'LL LOVE IT! Feb 14, 2004 Some say that Mr. Strait has just about run his course. Hog wash! He sounds as great today as ever and with #7, one of his earlier albums, you will find the same great sound, the same great songs that have made Strait the keeper he is. #7 is just a terrific album. But don't take my word for it, just do what I have done: buy it, listen to it, LOVE IT!THE HORSEMAN

it's in the album cuts Jan 08, 2004 The difference between a good album and a great album is the cuts you don't hear on the radio. The truely great artists are the ones that make people fall in love with a song that you aren't forced into because of radio play. People like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clint Black (his early work at least) and most notably George Strait are ones that do it. #7 is a shining example of this. It's not a great album because of marketing or hype, but because it's just a fine example of the things we hear so often are lacking in much of modern country music (but's thats an unfair comparison to be taken on another day). The point is that when you hear "never gonna let you go" you're going to get lost in the richness of the album and realize that there's more to music than what you hear on the airwaves. It's an amazing artist at the peak of his game doing what he does best. How could it not be worth the money?
simply great Aug 11, 2003 George Strait is one of the top country stars. CDs like this let's everyone know why.
